This week we have a special note from the Employment
Equity and Training Committee…
Think about our recent commitment in making meaning of our values,
including: ‘do what
we say we do’. By now you have a handle on your personal development plan and
you are thinking about how you are going to meet those goals (not to mention
navigate through your workload because it’s already June!)
Thomas
Edison said, “The successful person makes a habit of doing what the failing
person doesn't like to do.”
We
live and work in a deadline-driven world but there are times when we need to
commit to doing tasks that will carry us toward our dream. Take some practical
steps today to meet the goal of empowering yourself by scheduling time in your
calendar to complete a course on Edu-Hub. How about completing that
registration form for the course that you want to enrol for? Do the little
things that show you will do what you said you would – for yourself.
Have a wonderful week!
Warm wishes,
The EE Committee
(P.S: A big THANKS to Claire Forbes, for writing this wonderful
Merry Monday for us J)
