Hennie has been doing a great job of sending out our Monday messages, but I’d like to connect with you all too every once in a while! I believe that connecting is really going to be a massive part of 2012 – both at work and at play (and at all the places where these two intersect J). We’ll be connecting in more ways soon and we have all the platforms available for it.
As many of you noticed, I had the luxury of three weeks’ leave last year December. It was absolutely, blissfully, wonderfully relaxing. The day before I returned to the office I had a serious case of ‘I want more holiday’ disease and felt rather depressed. However, the minute I walked through the doors and began to connect with all of the special people in our team I immediately felt a sense of excitement and I actually regretted having taken such a long leave! I had a new disease called FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). You see, there’s an energy in this place that is like no other and it’s completely contagious. The minute we begin connecting it is ignited and it inspires people and organisations to perform like never before. It’s WOW stuff.
Let’s get connected this week, let’s share our Xperiences with others, let’s work together to bring about unprecedented performance in 2012!
